L-Glutamine

L-glutamine is the most abundant amino acid in the body and is commonly referred to simply as glutamine. Its main role is to maintain protein synthesis in cells. Glutamine is found mainly in the blood and muscle.

Normally, the human body makes enough glutamine itself to meet all its needs. However, the need for glutamine increases with strenuous physical activity, sports, or stress.

In addition, a growing number of scientific studies show that additional glutamine intake can help with health problems.
